Clinical Psychologist

To support people to grow in their journey. To discover their strength and resiliency in the face of adversity. To help people stay connected to their values even when triggered by all kinds of unpleasant thoughts, feelings, and circumstances. That's why I'm in this business. THAT is worth showing up for.
It matters to me to nurture children, adolescents, adults and families to connect with meaning and purpose no matter which curve balls life throws their way.
I’m a Clinical Psychologist inspired by and committed to applying Contextual Behavioural Science: understanding behaviour in the context in which it occurs to support people in reducing suffering and learning how to thrive.
I aim to live by the same principles that I apply in the therapy room. The treatment modalities I use include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Functional Behaviour Analysis, Relational Frame Theory, and Compassion Focused Therapy. I come from a systems perspective, considering how the individual sitting with me relates to their multiple networks (family, friends, and colleagues). There is no limit to whom my clients and I might invite to join us in the therapy room.
I’ve spent the last 18 or so years working systemically with families in various settings: families raising Neurodivergent and non-binary kids, separated families, juvenile offenders, survivors of abuse, anxiety and depression, and perinatal mental health. I have a great love for working in community settings, including schools, public speaking, and workshops. It was my humble privilege to serve on the Board of the Australian and New Zealand Chapter for the Association for Contextual Behavioural Science (ANZACBS) 2016-2020.

Things I have to say…
Acknowledgement of Country
I acknowledge the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation as the traditional custodians of the land on which I live and work. I pay my respect to Elders past, present and emerging, and recognise the strength, resilience and capacity of Noongar people in this land. I recognise that sovereignty was never ceded.
Really appreciated your most recent post on ‘being with’. I have a feeling I will be sending it to lots of clients.

Loved your mini co-parenting course. I had been practicing a lot of that already, however, I still learned some new things!!
