Tiffany Rochester, Clinical Psychologist
Who do you want to be and what do you want to stand for, in the life that you HAVE, even if it’s not the one you would’ve chosen?
I want to know about the life you’re most interested in creating, the dreams your heart yearns for, the identity you connect with, the legacy you want to leave. I serve those who wish they dared to be different, who feel out of place or just wonder if there could be “more than this.”
I am passionate about service to children, teens, adults and families, understanding contexts and systems, and moving from surviving to thriving. I don’t believe that problems are housed in the person; they’re in the inter-personal, and that a life worth living is found in connecting to our values and being empowered in behaviours that reflect those, regardless of what life throws at us. I am fierce about compassion and kindness, and I believe YOU are worth making the very top priority.
I believe that the Neuro Diverse make ours the best universe, and that the rich tapestries of gender and sexuality should never have been constrained to a binary. I am fortunate to call Boorloo, on Whadjuk Noongar Boodjar, home, and I commit to listening to the wisdom of those who have cared for this land since the time of the Nyitting.
Nearly two decades into my career, I remain a lover of geeky science about what it is to be human, and my therapy approach is grounded in the rich tradition of contextual behavioural science, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Compassion Focussed Therapy.
It is a privilege to serve you as we make our way up this Same Mountain.
